2002 Chrysler Sebring speedometer

out of the blue my speedometer stopped working.
The hand is on the other side of the rest pin.As it were ,the chand has turned 360 degree canti clock wise.

How to solve?

Thank you for the donation.

When there is a power surge, the speedometer hand can overshoot and when that happens, it would not return to the normal resting position.

You would have to remove the meter culster to manually turn the hand back and that should solve the problem. However since it was acting weird prior to it happening, you would have to check the Vehicle Speed Sensor as well.
