Transmission problem
2002 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My Sebring had a transmission leak at the solenoid pack. The garage I took it to for repairs said the pack must be replaced. I had thought that since my transmission was otherwise operating normally, the solenoid could be reattached with a seal kit.
What would be normal proceedure in this case? Replace the solenoid pack or reseal the original unit?

You can get the seal from the dealer (the only place). There is no reason to replace the pack if the transmission is shifting properly.
