Can an LXi Convertible with the 3 rotary switch climate control can be replaced with a digital version? If so, what is the part number and is there any modifications that need to be made?

You have a simple, reliable set of cables and vacuum motors to run the vent and temperature doors in the heater box. The electronic version is for the Auto Temperature Control version. It adds a real high degree of complication and requires the use of the electric actuators on the heater box. I'm not sure if the heater boxes are different.

When I ordered my '93 Dynasty, I ordered every single option available EXCEPT Automatic Temperature Control because of its difficulty in diagnosis and frequency and cost of repair.
