i've recently spent 2500.00 on fixing my car...transmission was leaking...replaced o2sensor...spark plugs...oil sensor...changed to a thicker oil...my car mileage seems to be decreasing daily...when i used to fill it it would register close to 700km per tank...now i am lucky if it makes it to 500km per tank and on that it seem to use alot of gas very quickly...could this be because of the age of the car?...the weather conditions?...what else could i be doing to increase my gas mileage?...thanking you in advance for your response..

Make sure the correct tranny went back into the car
check for fuel leak
check fuel fill cap
check air filter
check brakes if holding or sticking
