2000 Chrysler Sebring LXi 4door

Maybe you guys can help. I am at a loss on this one. 4 mechanics have looked at it. We have replaced the power steering pump, all lines, AND rack and pinion in this car--all brand new and more than once. The steering is still as if there is no power steering at all. I am not sure why.

I know the pump is fine as i disconnected the high pressure line, started the engine, and it spit fluid everywhere. We also tested the rack and pinion with pliers and it is doing its job. You can turn the tires it is just really difficult...

Do you have any ideas?

Check the pressure switch. It is on the back side of the steering gear. Also, call your local Chrysler dealer with your VIN to see if you have the speed sensitive steering, and make sure that you get all correct units.
