1999 Chrysler Sebring seat belts

hi my front seatbelts lock up for no apparent reason. we can't get them to move to be able to wear them. any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi there,

the internal reaction spring on the inertia mechanism may have failed, you will have to get a new belt.
