1999 Chrysler Sebring Engine Wont turn over

My battery works fine, when i go to turn the car over nothing happens. Sometimes itll click like the starter is trying but thats rare.
I had a friend look at it and he said my security syste, couldve shut the car down but i dont know.
Can anyone help??

With key in ignition and on do you have a security light on and blinking
if so have to check for codes
if not turn light on do you have good and bright lights if not check battery terminals clean and tighten ,charged the battery and try ,
if all OK suspect starter and check it or replace it
