1998 Chrysler Sebring electric fans

hello the problem i'm having is with my fans or sensors. when my engine gets hot my fans don't come on to help cool down. if i turn on my AC both fans come on and cools the engine to normal temp. what might be the problem i'm having?

I would suspect your engine coolant temp sensor, before ruling out the fan relays.
