I have a 97 sebring i t will shift to 4th gear ,but will slip off to 3rd gear and stays there what can i do.

Hi there,
First thing to do is have the shift pressures and line pressures tested, his may indicate to the tech and problems with in the trans, you could try doing a service first, change the oil & filter but i feel it is a deeper problem you are looking for.
