It cut off then run for 5 mins and cut back off sometimes it will start back most wil not.

Most common when no communication is related to a blown cigarette lighter fuse
check that
also you can cycle key on off three times ending with key on read codes in the odometer area
check relays and fuel pump
check crank sensor
