1996 Chrysler Sebring Trying to pass smog

My 1996 Sebring LXi will not pass smog due to a functional Check failure... Smog place told me that it could be due to my cars computer needing an update... It appears that the cars computer is not holding the memory... does anyone have any ideas what might be causeing this problem??

What do u have for codes ?
monitors not ready ?
they had a recall to flash the PCM and some needed to be replaced
good luck

I dont have any codes it is not showing any codes and nor is my check engine light on...

I called the dealer about a recall and they said they have no recalls for my car..

Was the battery disconnected or work was done on the car recently?
Then u had failed because monitors not ready

what the emission report read ,
the reason of failure ?
car need to be driven up to a 100 mile or so after disconnecting battery and or clearing codes
