Engine Cooling problem
1996 Chrysler Sebring 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the engine shuts off and won't start after it gets heated up and yes it has coolant in it. Does it have a sensor that kills the engine when it gets hot? What could be doing this?

Check for codes
suspect CAM or CRANK sensor
check for spark after it stalls
check if PCM have SYNC from the cam and crank sensors and see both sensor when engine cranking
