I have a 1996 Sebring Convertiible that when the top is lowered and raised makes a screeching noise and jerks. Only the drivers side is affected.
The motor seems fine. It seems like the noise is coming from the folding rail above the drivers door, not the motor area.
Is there something I can lubricate or adjust?
Thank you.

Try a few drops of 3-n-1 oil . Be sure nothing is bent and catching first, or that it doesnt have abushing that is worn out
