1995 Chrysler Sebring please help!

4 times now I have been driving my car and my mouth and face will start to tingle, then I will start to smell asid/fumes realy strong then within a min. Or so I will start to passout. Yes they have been others in my car im not sick or crazy. I have almost hit a bridge, a ditch and this morning it happened when I was gouing to the buss stop with my kids in this death machine. My husband said it was the battery rubbing the underside of the hood and put a teeshirt over the battery, but it happened again this morning. PLEASE HELP! IM AFRAID OF MY OWN CAR.

There could be a number of things causing this concern. I strongly sugguest not driving the vehicle until the problem is resolved. If it is an electrical smell this could result in a fire if not fixed. Also if its an exhaust leak the carbon monoxide can cause long term effects on you and your families health
