Just had a mechanic rotating my tires saying my front bushings were wearing out. His suggestion- replacing them for $364. Had inspection 6 months ago. Said they wouldn't pass inspection. How long will bushings last? I have never had this problem. I've had vehicles(total of 12) and most have gone until 60k miles and have never had bad bushings.

This is not that uncommon to have ball joints and other bushings fail. They simply just wear out and there is no standard amount of time. Some last 100,000 miles and some never fail. It all depends on driving conditions, style and the quality of the product.

I attached the info below on how to replace this. Let's run through this and let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
