When I travel on uneven roads I hear a loud rumbling noise under the floor when the car is bouncing from the even road surface.
It feels as if I am running over wood logs. This noise is different then the customary noises one would hear when they are traveling over ‘bumpy’ roads.

Kinda low mileage, but you might look at the rubber inner anti-sway bar bushings. Any play between the bar and bushings will make a dull thumping noise, not a metal-on-metal sound. Also look at the exhaust system for hangers or pipes hitting the floor or frame.
