Steering problem
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 38,ish miles

I have a 2006 Pt Cruiser. Winter fell hard and early this winter in the PNW. Even though I live in the city, I knew that snow clearing services would be limited so I put my chains on. They really helped me get around but now ( I have no idea weather they are related) I hear and feel a knocking when I turn my wheel. Its mostly felt/heared when I am backing out of my spot or turning at a low speed. When I say feel; I mean I can feel a bump under my feet, at the same time that I hear the knock.

If the chains are off and you are hearing a clicking when you turn, have the CV-joints checked. Chances are they are the problem.
