How do I remove the liftgate CHMSL cover to get to the bulbs? My owner's manual simply says to remove. I do not know if it simply clips to the trim or what. Please assist me. Thanks.

Here's the procedure to remove your cover. If you damage any of the small plastic retainers, take one of them to a parts store and they'll have a replacement. ($5)

To access the CHMSL, disengage the snap retainers (Round plastic plugs with ridges on them) that secure the CHMSL cover panel to the liftgate using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent flat bladed tool. (You can use a long/skinny flat-head screwdriver)
Remove the CHMSL cover panel from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

Position the CHMSL cover panel over the CHMSL on the inside of the liftgate.
Engage the snap retainers that secure the CHMSL cover panel to the liftgate. Start at the center of the cover panel and work outward using the palm of your hand to fully engage the retainers to the liftgate.

If I've helped you, please take the time to vote for me, as my reputation pays my bills. Thanx, Ernest.
