2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Clutch problems

When I push the clutch all the way in the car makes a rattling grinding noise. If I push it 3/4 in it does not. Now if I try to put it in gear I have to force it and when I do it grinds.

It sounds like the pressure plate is bad.
