This car is seldom used. Th battery was replaced 9 months ago. went to start the car and the battery was totally dead, the power door looks would not even work. jump started the car (after dark), and interior lights kept flickering, not going out just getting brighter and dimmer. drove the car for about 5 miles until the headlights quit flickering. tried starting it in the morning and it was as dead as the prior evening. ??????

A 5 mile drive isnt enough to completely recharge a battery as dead as yours.The lights may have been flickering due to the alt trying to charge the system with the battery so dead and the engine running.I suggest having the battery fully charged and load tested, then having the alt in the vehicle checked to be sure it is performing within spec
