2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser sputtering

MY pt cruiser is a 2003 and I have had the spark plugs and wires changed.My car sputters and stall at any speed and has an engine lite that comes on and off intermittanly. I don't know what to do to fix the problem because I don't know what the problem is can you help?

Hi:
What I need you to do is take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan it for trouble codes. Most will do it for free and if the light has been on there should be a code. If so, it will identify the problem.
