2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Knocks or Clunks when coming to a

When the car comes to a stop it makes a pop or knock or maybe a clunk. I'm not sure what's causing it. The transmission is very smooth. I think it must be with the suspension or maybe the engine mount?

Hi:
Can you tell if the sound is from the front or back? If it's an engine mount, it will happen when you are on then off the gas. It could be ball joints, tracking bar bushings, brakes, control arm bushings. Check those areas and let me know what you find.
