My husband has a 2003 PT Cruiser and the idle is very low and it dies when he comes to a stop and then is a little hard to restart. He had a tune up last year. He just replaced the battery and air filter. Can you help??

Is the check engine light on? If it is have it scanned at Autozone (they do it free) then get back with the codes.If not on, try cleaning out the throttle bore around the butterfly with some carb cleaner and a rag
