lately I have noticed all the bumps in the road, they just seem louder now than before. Could this be due to the shocks going bad? I carry a lot of stuff in the back during the spring summer and fall, like mulch and topsoil (300 lbs), but most of the time just passengers.

So I was wondering if I put 4 new shocks on, would this help with me hearing and feeling all the bumps in the road?

Some one said I might need struts. What is the difference?

What is the purpose of struts vs shocks?
