The headlights and electric locks on my 2002 Chrysler Pt Cruiser (Limited) suddenly stopped working. I hear a clicking noise in the center of the dashboard when I push the electric lock button. So I pulled apart the whole dash board in an effort to find a bad connection or ground. Everything looked good. All of the fuses were fine. I brought the car to my local Mom and Pop shop. The mechanic believes that the control module is not working. He recommended that I bring the car to a Chrysler dealer. If the problem is the control module; does he mean the BODY control module? If so. Where is the BODY control Module on my car? I have found companies that will sell reconditioned body control modules. They need the cars VIN # and milege. Do you have any faith in reconditioned body control modules? Feel free to contanct me with your answer via my email at wayneo2@optonline.net Thank you. Wayne

Yes, I believe he is refering to the body control module (BCM). I believe on your car (year) it is behind the kick panel. As far as reconditioned ones, I haven't personally had any experience with them. However, others say they are fine.
