How do you replace the thermostat on a 2001 PT Cruiser?

Hi:
Follow the upper rad hose back to the engine. It will end at the t-stat housing. Drain the radiator, remove the upper hose, remove the t-stat housing and the t-stat will be under it. Before removing it, pay attention to the direction it set in and then replace the new one in the same manner. Reverse the order to put back together.
