I was informed my cruiser needed Wattslink in a during a normal oil change and would cost $260.00.
Is this a fair price and how can I tell if I actual need this repair?

it takes around an hour to replace the Watts-link on this vehicle. That is approx. $75 at most shops in labor fees alone. The part itself is the expensive part. They usually cost upwards of $150. The price you was quoted, if for labor and parts, is a fair price. You can tell if its bad by visually inspecting it, also if it gives off vibration during driving.
