Engine Cooling problem
2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Front Wheel Drive Automatic 82000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I drove about 30 minutes and noticed a light came on. The gage was very hot. I let it cool down. I checked the oil-was fine, a little low. Then I checked the coolent in the back and it was empty. I am not sure if it just needs coolant put into it or if it is more serious. I am not sure what kind of coolent to put in. I LOST MY MANUAL.
Do you have any advice?

for the coolant to be low you may have a leak or another issue
and need to be checked
pressure coolant test need to be done
you need to add coolant and check it
for leak
also check and or replace coolant system
