My daughter recently took my 2001 PT cruiser, auto, 100K+ mile car into get oil change. They suggested they also do a "engine flush and conditioner" which she agreed to. Now, a week later, it overheated and shuts down. (Car is in Las Vegas, so it gets very hot there). Do you think the 2 are related? Could the Flush cause radiator problems if the air wasn't properly "Bled" ? It now starts if its is cool, but gets hot ASAP and cannot be driven. It was fine before the "flush", and I do feel this procedure is the cause of this overheating problem, it has been fine for the last 4 years in the Las Vegas heat. Thanks!
