1992 Chrysler PT Cruiser Driving through water

Hi i was wondering when i drive my 2002 pt cruiser through water my heat that is on seems to drop low then goes back to high once it is out of the water.Is this a sensor or something reacting,its not that i am not splashing i go very slow through the water.[img:899a608306]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/73558_2002_1.jpg[/img:899a608306]

Do you mean the fan slows down or the heater cools? Neither one should be affected by that. how deep of water are we talking about?
