My unit did not come with a rear view camera, but I suspect that everyone else who owns this vehicle without one, like me, wishes it did.

I bought a third party camera that mounts on the license plate holder. It transmits the video wirelessly to a display mounted on the windshield. The trigger is the reversing circuit. Herein lies the problem. The backup lights are beside the rear liftdoor on the body of the car, not on it with the license plate. Chrysler makes an OEM product that it says is plug and play, and from that I would surmise that they have brought the circuit into the door. If so, can I access that circuit by removing the "hood" that has the license plate light in it, or do I need to take off the panels that cover the inside of the door, and if the latter, how do those panels come off?
