For awhile now my car is making a "clicking" noise when I am coming to a stop. It also makes a popping noise when I turn the wheel, especially with sharp turns. I am concerned this is my axle, but would an axle problem cause the noise while breaking? What do you think this could possibly be?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hello,

It could be a combination of the CV Axle and the Bears going bad. But, most likely the CV Axle and yes it can cause the noise when braking. Recommend taking it in and have it checked could be dangerous.
