"KLUNKS" from left front when turning sharply backing or turning sharply forward. Driving straight or turning a corner no problem. I was told it could be the Power Transfer Unit and that would be expensive to fix. Would you recommend a Dealer or and independent Transmission shop? Thanks for your response.

I recommend the dealership bcuz their techs are trained for it-independent no too promising
