The year of my car is 1996 and the car just stopped on the middle of the street I cannot get it to turn on and was told by a repair guy that I need a distributor, decap (I believe this is a distributor cap), and a rotor. I was told that it may be about $100,000 worth of repairs. Can someone let me know if this sounds about right.

Thanks,
Sildanie

I'll bet you can get it done for $99,000 anywhere else all day long.

I didn't think any mopar had a distributers in 96. I thought they all went to DIS.

Maybe that is why it is so expensive.
