97 chrysler only heats up when i move..

how long would it take to replace the water pump..?? it only heats up when i press the gas pedal.. but when i let off the gass.. it gets cold.. wut is the problem.. and if i need to replace the water pump.. how long would it take to replace it??

Don't rule out low coolant level or a thermostat that is stuck open.
