My Prowler has a 1 second loss of power/engine shut-off intermittently. If I'm moving it simply kicks back in. If I'm idleing the car stalls. The engine always immediately starts after stalling

Questions;
Do you have a "check engine" light?
When was your last tune up and fuel filter change?
Does it make a difference whether the engine is warm or cold?
Please advise.

No check engine light

Tune up/oil change recently-don't think I've replaced the fuel filter, although I will tell you that it feels like a total power loss, not a lack of fuel

No noticable difference whether hot or cold, but sometimes I will drive it for an hour & not experience one incident, other times it happens every 60 seconds or so.

I would change the fuel filter, it could be a cheap fix.
