Electrical problem
1999 Other Chrysler Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 79000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
dodge caravan 1999, went to start it... dead. Then the lights, interior, and headlights and odometer, and all dash lights dim and flicker, all this when the key is "on" and when the key is not even inserted. checked all fuses and they looked fine. Under the dash fuses and the under the hood fuses are fine. There is a nine prong fuse we can't identify....
We "reset" it (holding the 'trip' button down and the code we got was 999, 940. We can't find out what this code is refering too. Is there any reset switches for the EGR, or relays that aren't apparent? or hidden? The car was fine all day then, the fourth time I started it...just dead. dim lites and then none... finally got a jump, yet it did not hold the charge. I checked the battery and cables.. no corrosion. Lots of ticking sound related to this.

Sounds like the battery is bad.If it wont hold a charge the anti-theft will go off when system voltage gets too low. Try having the battery tested/charged and then it should be ok
