1996 Other Chrysler Models key ignition

Wiper, Radio, heater does not work did work when wiggling key switch went out completly what could be the cause. Everything else works.

Hi:

It sounds like you have a short in the steering column. Because of the year and the airbag, I would suggest you take the car to a certified mechanic.
