1994 Other Chrysler Models idle control valve

we recentlly had the car backfire for no apparent reason. Now when the car idles it shakes very badly. this only happens when the car is opperating below 1rpm. Once it gets back to 1 rpm its smooth. We had a new timing belt installed new water pump timing sensor wires and plugs. Even our mechanic cant come up with an answer as when code tested everything was a ok plus we get no engine light so he can pick up on a faulty code. any ideas it is a 3.5 v6 engine

Check for possible vacuum leak and EGR plugging up.
