1993 Other Chrysler Models wont move

Stops moving, makes whinning sound, then jerks and will move short distance.. in either reverse or forward.

With the high miles, it sounds terminal. I would suggest a salvage yard trans with some type of warranty. If you go with a rebuilt trans, or have this trans rebuilt, it will cost you more than the car is worth. Good luck, mickey-d.
