Hi.. I have a 1979 Chrysler Cordoba limited 300 with the 5.9l 360 and when you start it, you have to put a pipe wrench and spin the engine alittle.. When you get back in the vehicle, it will fire right up.. Is it the flex-plate, or the starter?? Thanks..

Hi:

The next time, try taping on the starter a few times. If it starts, replace the starter. Let me know what you find out.
