1995 Chrysler New Yorker does not start all the time

1995 Chrysler New Yorker 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My car starts some times and sometimes it won't... I'm thinking its the battery cables , because the cables are really bad and worn threw the cover .. Some people say its the starter...

Replace both battery cables and make sure it's properly connected.
