Engine Performance problem
1995 Chrysler New Yorker 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have this 95 newyorker 3.5l and the car wont start untill it cools down there is no head gasket problem when the car shuts down i cant get my scanner to communicate with it untill it cools down????

Have you checked to make sure you are getting both spark and fuel to the engine? Based on your description, I'm going to guess and say you loose spark.

Regardless, when it dies and doesn't start, check fuel pressure and for spark and let me know what you find.
