i replaced front brakes. after reassembled i lost my pedal... i then replaced the master cylinder. now i have a brake pedal when the car is off but when i start it the pedal goes to the floor

When you pushed the caliper pistons back into the caliper, did you open the bleeder to release the pressure, or did you force it back to the master cyledner?
