Pretty sure, but the dealership parts department can tell you for sure. If they both take the same replacement part number, that would suggest they will interchange. There are two things to consider.
They could have used different sensors or sensor connectors. If the differences are significant, the replacement transmissions will likely have different part numbers.
Although unlikely, they could use different flex plates. All that is necessary is to keep the original one on the engine. The notches in the outer ring are specific to the needs of the engine computer. I don't recall there being a difference on these cars, but it should be double-checked.
As for the sensor issues, I put an '89 Dynasty 3.0L into my '88 Grand Caravan. Everything was identical except the newer engine didn't use the intake air temperature sensor that was needed by the '88 engine computer. I just let the sensor hang there, and it's been fine for years. Differences like that would not necessarily need a different part number. There just might be a removable plug that is left in place if that sensor isn't used.
