I put transmission fluid in master cylinder when I went dry and had no choice. Will this damage any part of the brake system? and how to correct it?

Hi there,

The transmission fluid will not be compatible with the rubber components in the braking system, ideally the entire system should be o/hauled & flushed off oil. what will happen over time, the rubbers will soften & swell causing brake failure, this should be rectified ASAP.
