Recently had the fuel pump replaced. The car has always run a little rough at cold idle but never been a problem driving until now. Now when you make a turn or start from a stopped position the car engine starts to shudder and pressing the accerator has no effect. Sometimes this lasts only a few moments, other times it make last 10 or 15 seconds. Eventually it snaps out of it and then drives normally until the next slow turn or start from stop.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1. Defective spark plug
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
11. Idle air control valve.
