1986 Chrysler New Yorker 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

We just replace the front brake pads and now the brake pedal feels spongy. Also the rear brake light stay on all of the time and won't go off. How do we fix the problem?

Hi:
As far as the light is concerned, check the switch attached to the brake pedal. When you take your foot off the pedal, the switch should make contact and turn the light off.

As far as the brake feeling spongy, did you open the hyd system for anything?

Let me know.
