1986 Chrysler New Yorker V8 Automatic 200000 miles

Car will not drive forward but will reverse and if you try to drive it foward it barely scoots

Hi there,

If you have positive drive in reverse, and little or no drive in forward, i would say there has been a failure of the front band, or servo that operates it. This is a job for a transmission specialist.
