Engine Performance problem
2000 Chrysler LHS Automatic

i been driving my car all week and it's been doing good,this morning i got up and it started right up,i went to my mother's house and sat for about 20 min,when i went back out to start my car it would not start,it just clicks, all my lights and radio still works, would could that be?

If it's a rather loud clunk, suspect solenoid contacts in the starter motor. Very common problem with a cheap fix. The contacts are $20.00 for the pair. Most people don't know how easy they are to replace so they just replace the entire starter motor.

By now you've probably found that if you try it enough times, it will eventually crank. It will get progressively worse, but for now, it will usually start if you cycle the key enough times.
